CORAL SHORES PITCHING DOMINANT IN VICTORY OVER MARATHON
Coral Shores starting pitcher Tyler Rodriguez pitched five innings and recorded 12 strikeouts in a 4-0 shutout over the Marathon Dolphins at Founders Park on March 29. Rodriguez was dealing as he mowed down eight of the first 10 batters he faced through his first three innings. The Hurricanes offense jumped out in front, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first against Marathon’s Mathew Kratzert. Following the first inning, Marathon’s Kratzert settled in by not allowing another hit through his outing, picking up five strikeouts in total.
